*#06#into your keypad. An EID in the result means the chip is there. - 02 Find “Add eSIM” in settings iPhone: Settings → Mobile Data. Android: Settings → Network, or SIM Manager.
- 03 Confirm the phone is unlocked Carrier-locked handsets cannot take a travel eSIM. Bought outright, or contract finished? Almost always fine.
