Installation guide

Installed in two minutes.

Do this at home on Wi-Fi before you fly. The eSIM sits dormant on your phone and only starts counting when you land and switch it on.

Be on Wi-Fi

Installing needs a connection. Do it at home, not at the gate.

Have the email open

Your QR code arrives right after checkout, and stays in your account.

Charge above 20%

The profile download takes under a minute, but do not run flat mid-install.

Step by step, on your phone

Check compatibility first
  • 1

    Open Settings, tap Mobile Service

On iOS 16 and earlier this menu is called Cellular.

  • 2

Tap Add eSIM, then Use QR Code

Choose “Use QR Code” rather than transferring from another phone.

  • 3

Scan the QR code from your email

Hold the camera over the code. Open the email on a laptop, or take a screenshot and pick it from Photos.

  • 4

    Label it “Travel”

Naming the line makes it obvious which one to switch on later.

  • 5

Keep your home line as default

Set your usual number as default for calls, and leave the eSIM for data only.

When you land

Three switches, and your plan starts. Nothing here needs Wi-Fi.

Turn on data roaming

For the travel eSIM line only — this is what activates your plan.

Set it as your data line

Mobile data › switch to the eSIM. Leave calls on your own number.

Give it a minute

If nothing appears, toggle Airplane mode once to force a fresh network search.

Message support

Open the email on a computer and scan from that screen, or save the image and choose it from your photo library. A screenshot on the same phone works too.

Each QR code installs once. If you already installed it, the plan is on your phone — check Settings for the line rather than scanning again.

Data roaming must be ON for the eSIM line, and mobile data set to that line. Then toggle Airplane mode once.

Validity begins on the first connection abroad. Until you land and connect, it will show as not started — that is normal.

Contact support with your order number. Profiles can usually be reissued once, so do not delete a line you still need.
