  1. 01 Dial the code Type *#06# into your keypad. An EID in the result means the chip is there.
  2. 02 Find “Add eSIM” in settings iPhone: Settings → Mobile Data. Android: Settings → Network, or SIM Manager.
  3. 03 Confirm the phone is unlocked Carrier-locked handsets cannot take a travel eSIM. Bought outright, or contract finished? Almost always fine.
